How can I leave my house? Im being abused.

I was in the same situation. I dont know what exactly you should do. I only know what I did. Because of this I told my teacher I would rather be dead then go home and I ran away from home. Call CAS. Show them the bruises or whatever.

im sorry this is happening but you can do many things go to school and tell a teacher you really trust tell them everything evn that they lie to the c.a.s. or tell one of your friend parents tell them if they can please help u. I hope the best for u!!

The C.A.S. are idiots.. They should make sure by not just talking to the parents but to you for your well-being.. Try to talk to a friend, teacher or anybody in a school, or the police.. and with the several hospitalization they should see thats not only a cowincidence.. Good luck!!

ASK THE CAS TO TALK TO YOU IN PRIVATE. TELL THEM THAT YOU ARE NOT LYING AND YOUR BROTHER KNOWS IT. GET YOUR BROTHER TO TALK TO THE CAS TOO. THEY WOULD HAVE TO BELIENE TWO PEOPLE. ALSO ASK THE CAS IF THEY CAN SOMEHOW GET YOUR MOM AND DAD TO TAKE A LIE DETECTER TEST. THAT WOULD PROVE TO THEM THAT YOU ARE NOT LYING. SO THEM ANY BRUISES that YOU HAVE ON YOUR BODY FROM THE ABUSE. ALSO RUN TO A NEIGHBORS HOUS EWHEN IT HAPPENS!!! CALL THE POLICE AND TELL THEM!!! THEY WILL BELIEVE YOU!!! HOPE THIS HELPED YOU

Sweetie you need to get visual evidence, like place video cameras around the house where it is hard to find, and call an emergency hotline. I feel your pain maybe not to well, but I know some of it I live with my grandparents because my parents almost killed me on purpose when I was a baby till child protection services came in and took me away, and if you have any bruises from your parents, take pictures and send them to the police, this is a serious crime you need to get out of the house.

I am a 16 year old girl living in Cleveland, OH. I have trouble with school and it has forced me to shut down and not want to go at all. I suffer from anxiety at night and always have trouble with sleeping. Some nights I do not even sleep at all. Throughout my whole life my parents have always had a side to them that was abusive. My father used to hit me and my brother very badly and leave welt marks or bruises from the belt. He also used to hit my mom and choke her when he was drunk. Things have changed a little bit but my parents seem to have a fron on for other people, when behind closed doors go off about little things. I didn’t go to school 3 days out of a 4 day school week and I didn’t talk to my parents the whole week because I was either catching up on my sleep or locked up in my room. I left that Friday to talk with my boyfriend about the things I was experiencing and I came home that night and got into an arguement with my mother about school and the trouble I had. The arguement escalated and my dad got into it and told me “I would love to jump over this table and slap the F* out of you right now”, he got into my face and I called my boyfriend for help and went upstairs. My mother said something along the lines that she was going to hit me and at that point I was fed up with the abuse so I screamed “your not going to black my eyes anymore”. She heared me and ran upstairs after me, I got cornered in the bathroom and got her on video calling me names and in my face. I pushed past her and my dad grabbed her right after she punched me in my face. My dad picked me up and threw me into a wall and started punching me, kicking me, and slapping me around. I couldn’t breathe anymore so I pleaded for him to stop and all he said was I don’t have to stop it’s my house. I got up and told them I would call the police and they said if you call they will be on our side and won’t care that we beat your a. I told my school counselor that following Monday about everything and we called Children and Family Services that same day. It’s now Wednesday and I am awaiting to talk to someone from there. My counselor even asked me if I had a relative to take me in, but unfortuantly my family on both sides is very unstable to care for me. My boyfriend’s mom has offered me to stay there since that is where I’m most comfortable and able to relax instead of in fear or always depressed. I am to a breaking point, I wanted to committ suicide and all the above. I’m so anxious to get this over with, I have videos, and pictures of my face for proof that I am abused. I just hope that I can move out of this house. I understand your situation and you have my support.

call the police or child services. tell them that your parents lie

get some evidence, hidden camra, hidden voice recorder, camra, anything that will be handy

Record it. Or scream when they’re beating you up so neighbors can witness that and tell them about it.

Get married and get out of the house…My cousin stabs and cuts me…I dont get slammed into a wall though thats pretty bad…I actually almost died because she almost drowned me in a lake…she was drowing the both of us…and we were both hospitalized and survived…but I think parental abuse is terrible…I know the right thing is to tell the authorities butim not doing it so why should I force you too…you seem like ou hate them it will make it easier for you to tell on them…but I can’t..I love my cousin..I cant let her go not even if it kills me. well my parents used to abuse my sister ther four of us bt they hurt her the most and she was put in the hospital and they wud also leave her ther to die bt she wud always sumhow survive. she never did nething bout it and after that she had tried to kill herself many times bt also always survived now she is 28 and has a family of her own and has forgiven both of my parents bt that kind of thing doesnt always happen im afraid that yu will b led to hurt yurself so pleasee call the police rite after it happens and if yur scared to do it go to the principal nt a teacher because yu cant always trust them or if yur religious and go to church go to the people who are very religious trust me they will help yu bt please hunny keep trying to get help im nt very into prayin or nething bt I will pray for yu I hope this helped and also all of us here at funadvice are here for yu!
