How can I hang lights in my room?

Okay, so I have this really boring bedroom and I want to color it up by hanging some (christmas?)lights up. But, I don’t know if christmas lights are what I should get for a room. and I want to hang them up without it looking trashy. so no nails staples or anything like that showing. Please Help.

go look in poster magazines ? and farie lights not christmas lights

I would say tape. But in any type of small room it is going to look trashy.

Where can I get posters and stuff? because I have NONE AT ALL.

I use the Brass cuphooks (size: 7/8 “) that screw in by hand. They are Gold colored so they look classy, but very thin and you almost don’t even notice them at all. Just the right support for the weight of the tiny light strings and look best when placed in ceiling aprox. 4-5 inches from the wall towards center of room, in the corners and aprox. 4-5 feet apart with the string SLIGHTLY draped between them. P.S. If you want the effect of candlelight instead of 24/7 Christmas, use the white lights.
