The best way to get ready for those events if you’re having trouble with it, is to start off slowly. People who usually jump in head first and think they can do 50, end up doing 50, but with pain and poor technique.

Start off each week with an event in mind. For instance, if Week 1 is Push ups, then try to get the minimum amount by the third day or so. Let me make an example schedule(feel free to use it if it works for you)

Week 1: Push Up Day 1 - 10 Push Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 2 - 15 Push Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 3 - 20 Push Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 4 - 25 Push Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 5 - 30 Push Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 6 - 35 Push Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 7 - Rest

Week 2: Sit Up Day 1 -10 Sit Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 2 -15 Sit Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 3 -20 Sit Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 4 -25 Sit Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 5 -30 Sit Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 6 -35 Sit Ups/Morning/Afternoon/Night Day 7 - Rest

Week 3: 1.5mile Run Day 1 -1/4 mile Run/Morning/Afternoon Day 2 -1/4 mile Run/Morning/Afternoon Day 3 - Rest Day 4 -1/2 mile Run/Morning/Afternoon Day 5 -1/2 mile Run/Morning/Afternoon Day 6 -1 mile Run/Morning/Afternoon Day 7 - Rest
