How to distract myself from eating?

I overeat.. :’( How Can I distract myself from eating so I only eat when I’m Hungry?

I’ve tried drinking a lot, staying out of the kitchen… but nothing works!!!

Get a hobby.

Read, Join a club, do yoga, collect stamps, etc. Getting a hobby will help keep you bus enough to keep you from eating when its not necessary. Also, get your friends to help you from binge eating.

Try reading or talking to someone also when you eat don’t eat in front of the tv or computer because you tend to eat more when you are distracted

Keep yourself busy! Do sports, find a hobby, get a job, volunteer, exercise, the list goes on. This is what works for me.

a lot of people eat when they are either bored or stressed. Keep yourself active and happy and you’ll be taking the firsts steps to eating healthy.

If you think about eating, stop to consider if you’re really hungry or not. Or if you’re just bored. You should know the difference. If you are just wandering around with nothing to do, then you’re bored and shouldn’t eat. But if your tummy starts growling at you and such, you should eat. Just 3 meals a day and maybe two small snacks. No more than that. Try and have self control. And find something fun to do. Leaving the house helps. If you’re not in the house, then you can’t get to food.

dont eat at all. once you start eating your hunger just keeps going. its all about self control. you have to be able to tell yourself your not going to eat and follow through with it. if you drink a lot of water it also fills you up and when you get tired of water try a diet soda or diet tea to change the flavor up. I also read that if you take a spoon full of apple cider vinegar it will make you eat less. most importantly keep yourself busy, even if its just sleeping it means your not eating. if you do eat something do five minutes of crunches afterwards. it makes me feel less guilty. yeah im a freak about my weight. I hope you can take something from this.
