How can I deal with a sorta complicated crush situation.

What should in do? I have a huge crush on this boy in my class. I’m very unsure if he likes me. I highly doubt this, I think he’s a little out of my leauge. And we’re different races.not that it matters to me at all but I think it does to him. I know sometimes a white guy can feel a lttle embarrassed of what his friend’s might say if he ever was interested in me. I know there’s prettier options.but does anyone know any ways maybe to get him to at least try to have an intrest in getting to know or notice me at all. It’s hard because we are friends and I’m shy around people I like but it’s not easy when that person is your friend.and it’s really not easy when your friends suddenly try to crush on him also and bluntly telling you they want him to be their friend instead of you.does anyone have any advice?thank you.

Well first of all, it sounds like your friend isn’t all that great of a friend so you might be careful about trusting her.

If the guy doesn’t like you, there isn’t much you can do to change that. But you can try to get closer to him. Find out what kind of things he is interested in (music, sports, movies, etc.) and casually bring them up when you’re talking. If you have anything in common, it’ll be easier to talk to him. Other than that, I know it sounds cliche, but really…don’t try to be something you’re not.
