Yes, it’s good to give ANY dog a bath. Since it’s so big, I’d say get someone else to help you out. That’s what we do with my one dog since she’s pretty big. My brother holds her down so she doesn’t freak out, my mom fixes the water, and I scrub her.
We’ve got the doggie wash place here, too…You might have to wait till summer, and take him to a lake…that’s what I do…

You might need help with that - another person to help you hold him down.
Another option (and I do this with my dog), is to tie him up on a short leash and hose him down.
We do too and it is really cool, my Boxers love it and they just walk into it. So much easier on your back
go to a groomer, Or around here we have doggies washes. you just walk them up the ramp into the tub, wash and dry
