When is the right time to bathe your dog? When it starts to get a bad odor
Phrannie is right...
Bathing dogs more than once a month can strip their skin and fur of essential oils that their bodies need.
Once a month should be sufficient. If they smell horrible for no reason (like if they haven't been rolling around in mud), take them to a vet, it could be a skin or gland infection.
Obviously, if they roll around in dirt or mud randomly, a bath more often than I suggested would help the immediate issue.

If your dogs starts to smell bad before a week is out, then there is an issue, either with it's skin or with it's anal glands...
Bathing, once or twice a month should be sufficient.
p
it depends on the type of dog I bathe my german sheperd once a year since it dries out there skin inless he smells bad which is pretty rare but my yorkie poo I bathe once or twice a week.
I would say once a week or once every 2 weeks like above dogs are usually full of germs from running around, digging, ect they are dirty even when they dont smell bad
you should bath your dog at least once every two weeks or evan one week
once a week is good because of them playin and digging etc.
