Horrible dreams!

I got raped and I was 10 and I got raped at age 10-12 cause I didnt know :( and I went to court and crap.. And now everynight I wake up screaming cause I see his face or I see him raping me… Gah dont know what to do.

The reason you are having dreams about it is probably because your mind hasn’t come to grips with it and is still trying to sort it out and place it in its proper place.

Talking with a counselor or therapist might help you come to terms with it and give your mind a chance to park those memories. If you don’t have access to a counselor or therapist, then consider taking up Sika’s offer and Fun Mail her. Somehow you need to get your thoughts and feelings out into the open where you can view them in the light of day and get them sorted out.

Do not go to a theripist or anything like that…friends can always help…it is good to have friends that stick next to your side all of the time! But if you are having these dreams every now and then, the best thing to do is to stop thinking about, because the more you think about it, the more you will see him in your dreams! Taking pills isn’t the answer…but the answer lies in your heart if you can find it!

You need to seek counseling. Don’t go through it alone.

I’m about to go to trial for being sexually abused and raped by my adoptive father pretty much my whole childhood.

I’m working through a book now call The Courage to Heal. I recommend it but only as a supplement to counseling, parts of the book are very hard to work through.
