hormonal imbalance coming off pill?

I’ve been taking “the pill” for a long time now, but recently (cough) my husband had a procedure & now I don’t need to take it anymore, which I’m thrilled about! However, I seem to have a hormonal imbalance since coming off the pill, does this seem normal to you? Should I talk to my obgyn about this? Thanks!

You could try taking “Chast Tree Berry” supplements, it is an herb which regulates your hormones and your cycle, if you don’t want to take any drugs. It does take 3 months to work though.

Yes, there are side effects with anything, and you should consult a medical or naturopathic doctor before trying any supplements.

Dear save_me, I’m sure the doctor told you that your hubby could be fertile for several month after his procedure. In 3 month they will test him. Until then you should remain on the pill…you could get pregnant during this time. Yes when stopping the pill you could experience changes of all sorts. The doctor can give you several things to help you and there are a lot of over the counter items that can help also. Both the pharmacist and doctor will give you a list. Again…do not stop the pill till he has gone through his final testing. Sue….good luck
