Homeschooling?

Home More advice Education & School

My mom is applying for a job in a town close to the one I live in now. My aunt is the one that told her about it: It would be working at an appartment complex office, where my aunt also works part-time. If my mom got the job we would be moving there. We'd get our own apartment, wouldn't have to pay rent, and it would be legal to have our pets. As soon as a bigger apartment opened we would get it. I don't mind at all, considering that I have a friend here who lived in the town and he was planning on introducing me to his friends there, so I would know some people. The thing is, my aunt is homeschooling her daughter because she is pregnant, and we have been looking into it. It seems like a nice program, runs with Nike. I have missed a lot of school this year due to being sick and my grades have slipped terribly, so homeschooling would have me more focused. However, if I moved and then went to homeschooling, [it's online] then I wouldn't see my friends here at all. They are a huge part of my life and I'm worried that not seeing them on a day-to-day basis would set me back a bit. Should I contine going to public school, or switch to the program?
