How can I hide a scar on my wrist while swimming and exercising?

I don’t want to get loads of comments about how cutting is bad for you. It was one time, but it left a very obvious pink scar. I’m going on a family holiday soon and I need to know how to hide it. Any suggestions?

Well, all ‘cutting comments’ aside, I’d say wear a sweat band type thing on your wrists while exercising and maybe a few bracelets while you’re not.

Answer #2

exercising - sweat band swimming - rubber wrist bracelet

Answer #6

Answer #7

but eather way sweat band might be better

Answer #8

Bracelets would be better, get some tie-on ones so you don’t take them off. Also a perfect excuse not to take them off in the water… ‘mom! they are tied on!’ lol. Like those woven together friendship bracelets.

Answer #9

Honestly, no one is going to notice a scar on your wrist while you’re swimming. I know it’s easy to be paranoid about stuff like that, but believe me, I stopped hiding my wrist years ago, and the only people that ever notice are other cutters. Obviously a fresh cut is not something you want to go flashing around, but a scar is not easily noticed. Relax. Attempts to hide it will simply draw attention to it.
