Help! Hair Salon question!!

So I went to a hair consultation and the stylist will charge me $200 to color my hair. The problem is that I had colored my hair black 8 months ago and I have blonde highlights, which doesn’t look that great. So I want to go light brown with some highlights and she says that she needs to remove the black out of my hair. It takes a few hours for the whole process. Do you guys think its too much for hair color and a bit of highlights?? Is this too expensive? Should I go else where? Please Help!

It depends on how good the results are… My hair stylist charges $80 for color and then additional for highlights, it usually totals up to about $160… but she doesnt have to strip color from my hair, which probably costs extra…

It is a fair price. But remember that hair stripper cost 10 dollar at the store, a box of dye is 10 dollars, and a box of highlights is 10 dollars. It all depends on what you want to do. I do not trust hair dressers after paying hundreds for them to mess my hair up. But that’s my personal opinion. But 200 is a good salon price.
