Why is my Mom having pain in her arms?
Okay my mom is overweight, diabetic, and she is 54 years old. I love her to death! And she has been complaining that her upper arms hurt. They have hurt for a few months she said. Today she picked up a can of tomaton soup and it hurt to hold it. I know that having pains in your arms can be a early sympton of a heart attack. Please tell me what you think! Thank you! <3
She needs to get back to her doctor for a correct diagnosis. Her weight and diabetis need to be checked and monitored.

Thanks. I don’t think it’s a heart attack any more. But I’m still not sure but I think she’s okay in that department anyways. Thankyou for taking time to answer my question. This was important to me.

Could be Tendinitis I have that and it’s very painful. . . I have to sleep with my arms straight and raped to keep them warm other wise the pain will wake me up. . . could also be a torn rotery cuff in the shoulder. . . . but it sounds like Tendinitis to me.
I think every one is missing the “for a few months” part. . . . My Mother is type one diabetic so was my Ex wife. . . . it could be other complications.
Yeah she goes to the doctor I think every month. But they haven’t said anything. Oh and 2 days ago she went to some health thing my dad’s work has and they didn’t say a thing about that either. I don’t know what they all did though. Thanks! <3
