Why doesn't motrin work for me?

The best treatment varies from one person to another.

I get migraines too and I’ve tried everything you can imagine. Usually I go down a list:

-The drug that works best for me is Advil Extra Strength Migraine Relief. -If that doesn’t work, I try to figure out what I’ve eaten that day (sometimes the headaches are brought on by not eating properly). -I then make sure I’ve had enough to drink and I’m not dehydrated. -If I still can’t get it to go away, I drink a bottle of Coca Cola (it can’t be anything but Coke - something in it that gets rid of my headaches)

• If that still doesn’t work, then it’s a trip to the ER for a shot…a last resort, but undeniably the ultimate migraine-killer.

As stated before, though, you should talk to your doctor about this - finding out what causes them in the first place could dramatically decrease the occurrence of them.

I know the cause of it… I think. my family has a history with migraines

you could see another doctor and get another opinion, different doctors have different solutions (:

hey man. do you wear glasses? my g/f used too get this problem, and she just needed glasses. it may help…

Tylenol works best and take a full dose

try excedrin migrane :) it’s works wonders for migranes lol
