is it harmful for a human being to eat dog food?

It’s not exactly harmfull but it doesn’t taste good i used to eat it when i was little. There are many other food options for humans then dog food haha go find one of those to eat instead :)

What kid didn’t try their dog’s food when they were growing up? I ate a piece of it, no big deal…however, not recommended and if it’s the wet dog food, you may be in for a very nasty surprise if you read the ingredient list…

I’ve never eat dog food, then again my family has never had a dog… lol.

I sure ate a lot of it as a kid…and I’m here to talk about it :). I doubt it’s good as a steady diet, however…

No, it is not. There are more regulations placed on dog food than human food. While I have never tried it, there are those that like it. I do not recall whom it was that did a story for the news media about a man in England that “test” the stuff by eating it. Here is the kicker, he is not required to taste it.

Look at it this way….if you’re planning on only having dog food as your regular diet then, yes, you’re going to run into a lot of problems because you’re not getting your recommended daily food requirements. However, tasting some of it from time to time will have no negative long term effects on you (short term - you might be running to the toilet a little more often). Sad fact: many elderly people who are on tight fixed incomes will consume dog or cat food for sustenance because it is cheaper than real food.

eat the right type of it would it not give you bright eyes and a shinny coat? lol
