Hard to ear in both ears

I have a pregnancy scan tomorrow morning and my ears are blocked up with wax but I clean them every day what can I do? I have ear drops for them but still hard to ear Its gunna be hard listerning to my midwife speak? ..

Answer #1

put a hot cloth on both ears, and tie them onto your head so they wont move…or do one at a time which is probably the better bet…the steam will loosen the wax, then tilt you head to that one side for an hour (if you need to you can lie on your side) this should help the wax be released…and then use a q-tip because it will be closer to the opening (atleast it should be)

Answer #2

Get yourself a large syringe – the kind without a needle that they use for injecting food into feeding tubes.

Get in a hot bath and fill the syringe then spray it into your ear. Do this 20 times in your ear. Somewhere between 10 and 20 you see that the wax impaction will pop out of your ear. Still go all the way to 20 as this helps melt and remove any remaining wax in the ear canal. Then do the other ear.

I do mine every three to four weeks and it sure makes a difference.
