Hampsters in a spinning wheel?

I need some tips on hamers… my hamer runs on her weel all the time but when she runs to fast she spins with the weel and gets me weryed what should I do

LOL!!! it’s so damn funny!! everytime I see my hamster spinning with the weel I laugh so hard I stometimes lose my breath!! don’t worry, it’s because the weel is too fast, and she SUDDENLY decides to stop, and the is still spinning, so she spins with it, LOL, I can’t stop laughing!!!

weryed??? do you mean worried? and if so, I’d take it out. My moms hamster died because he was on the spinning wheel and he poked his head out to see where he was going and got caught up in the wheel and it twisted his body and he died.

if you have a wheel that has open wiring in it you can take sandpaper and cut it in strips to fit the width of the wheel ,,,this way they wont get a leg caught and it helps them with traction and it also helps keep their nails trimmed down. As far as spinning…lol thats a hamster for you…mine do it all the time…even when they are in their hamster ball outside the cage…they will be fine!
