Gym Advice

I’ve been lifting weights for years but I can’t get the middle of my chest to pop out. What exercises do you recommend? I think it has a lot to do with my genetic make-up but I’m sure if I work hard on it something will work. Help!!

Answer #1

Dave what about straight arm pullovers? Thats when you lie across the bench on your back and lift weights up over you and back down again.

Answer #2

If you are bench pressing, hold the barbell closer to the center—bring it down at the bottom of the ribcage. You can also lay on the bench with two dumbells held together at 90 degrees to your position and lower them slowly towards your feet until 45 degrees then back. Start out with less weight than you think you can handle, this is much harder than benchpressing.
