Why do guys always go for short girls?

not all guys go for short girls. some will go for the tall ones too. it just depends what the guy is into

they seem to have (sometimes) a nicer personality…. plus some guys want to be “The Boss” and look in charge.. so they go for someone that is shorter so they can show it even more…. it works out that way or something

That is not true in all cases. My own girl is a little taller than me and we still make a cute and good couple. Not only that a guy should also look at the person in the girl, the height and other beauty is just external, what should matter more is the heart. That is what mattered to me at least.

Everbody likes different things being pretty short myself hight doesn’t matter but I have a friend who like short girls because it makes him feel like big I guess

Women have always been shorter than men. So it’s ingrained in men to think that it is the way to go. All other answers are just justifiers to why.

I don’t think that all guys do, It all depends on what a guy likes.

Lol Honestly. It’s a self confidence thing =P Guys don’t feel like they are obligiated to protect there gf which makes them feel like they can’t which in turn makes them feel inadiquit.

if there is a short girl she typically goes for a taller guy. i dont like guys that are near my heigt it makes me feel protected when they are hugging me. its just personal preference but not all guys like short girls

I’ve always been told that men just like to feel masculine (bigger, taller…yada yada…) and when they have a shorter girl, they feel masculine still.

they like feeling like the big, strong man who can protect you. it’s true.

what renee said and because of the way we hug them, if we are hugging someone who is taller than us it feels weird, we just love holding short girls tight in our arms and like deep into our arms, its hard to explain

Honestly, i find it kinda awkward if i had a bf who’s shorter than me. i like taller guys so i feel protected. But it’s just my opinion. just like everyone else is saying here, it depends on the guy. :]

well, haha, this is a cute question, but a guy would go for a short girl because, for me, it feels better. like, the guy isnt getting overpowered, not pressured, and could love her even more because shes short. and they’re not short, they’re FuNsiZE

Guys don`t like being shorter than their girlfriends , they like to be taller so they will go for the shorter girls.

not all do, some guys prefer long legs girls therefore a tall girl

Cuz they r too stupid to realize that the tall ones r pretty too and they r intimidated by the tall ones and I know because. I’m tall and I have the same problem. They want to have control and they short ones make them feel powerful. It sucks

Well it is mainly because men have many complexes and one thing that we really do not like is having someone that we are supposed to be strong for, someone who we are supposed to be a man for bigger than us, it makes us feel small. That is the mental thing behind why we like short girls. Really I just think that short girls are very physically attractive, then again I am only 5’ 8” so that ties into it.

I’m 5 8” and I HATE it. But my current boyfriend is 5 11” and finds it sexy cause taller girls have longer legs : ) not ALL guys go for short girls, but I like guys to be a lot taller then me. Like 6 3” if I can find anyone like that
