what does a guy mean when he says hes concentrating on career?

Depends on the situation the wordings is used. If he doesn’t want to go out with you because he’s career comes first, then he’s being selfish and not interested in you. If he doesn’t have much time to socialise as he is concentrating on his career it means he’s looking ahead and making something for himself which is fair enough. That’s my opinion.

Awww sorry to hear that :( .. Never chase after someone who do not love or like you in return, OR, treat you like crap OR is already in a relationship with someone else. There are so many available fishes in the ocean you can net anyone you want, it’s a matter of how good and nice of a fish you want. :P
