Any tips for guitar playing

Oh yeah… I have one too Practice practice practice! Lol thats all I got

Answer #1

I’ve been playing guitar for almost 9 years. Some advice for the beginners are, get nylon strings. They are miracles! But they do go out of tune a lot at first. And a good tab site to learn songs is ultimate-guitar.com It’s amazing!

I do the same learn by ear! it pays off in the end

Answer #3

I’m teaching myself guitar. my suggestion is this: turn on one of your favorite slow songs (I recommend Fix You by The Offspring) and listen to the guitar tune. then, try to play along with that tune, and compare the two. I’ve gotten better after I did this two times.

learning by ear’s great but it can take a while to learn. I suggest going to chordie.com, learning how to read guitar tabs (ask me if you don’t know, I can tell you), picking out one of your favorite songs (they’ve got almost everything on there), and practice. you’ll build up a huge amount of songs you can play if you do that. and it doesn’t take as long to figure out how to play it.
