what are growing pains?
If your child complains about having leg pains during the night, he or she might be having growing pains. These pains are felt by preschoolers and preteens who get cramps and muscle pain in their legs. Despite the name, there is no study or evidence that this pain is related to growth spurts. Sometimes, these growing pains can be the pain due to intense muscle activities like climbing, running, jumping etc. The growing pain is different for each child; some kids face a lot of pain while others do not, and most of the kids do not have continuous pain on a daily basis. Your child will be perfectly fine in the morning but will feel the pain in the afternoon, evenings and right before they sleep in the night. Click here
