As baldwinwolf said it has antiseptic qualitites and that’s what makes it clear the skin.

With all the possibilities there are on shelves today, though, I’d recommend it as a last resort.

not true urine has no clinical use at all and nothing comes from using it, you might as well wash your face with water… same thing except less gross

urine has been used for many different reasons over the centuries- mainly the uric acid was used to whiten teeth. (processed uric acid is still in some products today including COSMETICS)
