What goods did the people take from Britain to Africa on the slave trade triangle?

Answer #1

Predominently: weapons & ammunition, metal especially copper; cloth; beads and similar non-precious jewelry / body ornaments. . An interesting story that I half recall: they took some large iron nails to trade, and the natives thought they were like plant “cuttings” so the tried to plant and grow them into trees / bushes, though I can’t remember for sure if it was actually Africa that they took them to - it may have been a different “3rd world” region. .
