What's a good student computer?

Especially if you are home schooling and have to run a lot of programs and still has to be fast?

Answer #1

to be honest with you the best thing is to get a gammer’s computer because it has all the latest & fastest stuff. like if a reg laptop offers 1gb of memory a gammers one will offer like 2-3gb of memory…and so on….if a reg hard drive goes for like 80-100GB the minimum hard drive will be in a gammers laptop 250GB…so you see it is worth it for all the programs to run faster and alot smoother…same with a graphics card…where a reg laptop uses standard graphics…using some programs demand better graphics…in a gammers laptop that is like one of the most important things…but take into consideration that it will cost you accordingly! what you dont want is to get one from like office depot or staples..they will offer you junk! check out the nearest best buy…sometimes they have good stuff for the right price, but make sure if you do go you go with some specifications…or someone that really knows what he is talking about so that the salesman doesnt just rip you off & give you reg things in your laptop!

Another thing is go on to a few websites see if you can customize your own laptop…ask for advice while doing so & see if it fits what you need or your budget! remember these things can be very pricey so be careful…only focus on the important things…like graphics card…hard drive & memory….those are you key issues for running programs & running them smoothly!

Hope this helped…
