What are some good lotions to help your arm pain?

My dad fell on his arm more than 6 months ago, and since I have been visiting him he has been conplaining about his arm and I did try to pop it or something, and it did get rid of some of the pain but there is still some left bellow the shoulder. What are some lotions that can be rubbed on to help the pain go away?

i dont think theres any miracle lotion to help the pain go away. there are 4 options. -ice the pain -put a heating pad on the pain -see a doctor -wait it out to see if it gets better

i would advise him to do #3

Depends on the type of pain, you could try Rub A535, that works wonders whenever I’m sore, takes the pain right away, you just need to massage it in and it gets cold and then it gets hot. It’d be worth a shot, it’s only like 5$ for a tube

I have heard that preparations containing “Arnica” are helpful in relieving this type of chronic pain.

I have never tried it myself but two people have independently told me that herbal remedies made from Arnica have succeeded when conventional pharmaceutical products have failed.

Hope your father gets better soon.

First of all if he still is in pain after all this time u need professional help…creams are a quick fix like i used to do for my dad…never work! I went as far as making a rub using a few drops of eucalyptus oil mixed in with a table spoon of almond oil mix together, smeared on affected area & massaged til my hands were aching…still didnt work! I then called the doc & asked for more some referral to someone bcz my dad couldnt sleep, he couldnt think clearly & at this point it was so painful he was talking crazy. The doc suggested all sorts of tests be done, x-ray and sent him to get an epidural bcz the problems were in his vertebra but felt it from his neck to his arm! In the end only 2 things helped…

  1. acupuncture…what needs to be done is to reset any nerve damage which means he needs to begin with an x-ray, then sessions…during that period, it may reset a few nerves it did for my dad as well he is more upset & gets angry quickly but the pain is gone…

  2. While in therapy he needs to see another doc that specialized with infra red the doc used something on him using infra red & after a short time…he was feeling better.

all that combined with the massages i was giving him he thank god was able to get over it.

Hope this info was helpful & i hope he feels better!
