Where are some good depression orientated chat rooms?

I don’t really have advice for a chat room but my friend was recently depressed for a similar period of time. The way she coped was by finding people she could talk to. Thats actually how we met hse didn’t know me so wasnt scared about loosing my friendship by voicing her problems. The talking helped her alot so maybe you just need to find someone who will listen. Quite frankly, I dont know how helpful other depressed people would be when you’re depressed. You’ve got the same sort of maladaptive thinking circulating. In the U.S. there’s places that have low cost mental health care. Either in training programs or in community heath care. I find it really hard to believe that there’s nowhere you can go in a place that has socialized medicine (unless I’m mistaken, Ireland does have socialized medicine?).
