Why do girls insist on wearing high heels yet they hurt?

I don’t wear them, I think some pairs look mighty fine, but I’d rather be comfortable and able to walk, or run when the need arises.

If your wearing a skirt, heels make your legs look longer. It gives off more of a sexy kinda look.

sum people like the way they feel, others wear thm for the way they look. i wear thm but only for like weddings and stuff like tht. not wen im like at dance parties cuz i dance all night and it kills.

Not all heels are uncomfortable and hurt. If you buy a good quality pair that fit the arch of your foot properly and have adequate padding for the soles of your feet they are great. I wear heels on a weekly basis, especially when i go out. They improve your posture, make your calves look more toned, elongate your legs, and can make you feel sexy and more feminine.

i don’t wear high heals only probably because i have no arch in my foot so my feet are like really flat. my doctor has said not to wear them beccause it will ruen the bone structure in my feet. the only high heals i wear are really low ones. not every girl wears high heals.

I am sorry to know that. My daughter used to have the same problem. The doctor made her these special pad that she has to wear ineide her shoes to restucture the bone. It seems to work well…

Some girls are super short, and want to appear taller (which heels obviously help with). They also make your legs look lean and toned & appear much longer and skinnier. And, when you think you look prettier, you gain much more confidence… which is worth the pain to some girls.

High heels make legs look longer and sexier and make a lot ladies feel sexier and more confident. Once you are use to wearing them, they really are not uncomfortable, especially if you purchase a quality pair.

The same reason people get cosmetic surgery, piercings, tattoos… For vanity and fashion.

yeah i have them too in my shoes. i think there called insoles. my brother also wears them. my feet do sometimes hurt in other shoes i wear so i normally have to get a special kind of shoe.

:/ Because alot of girl’s mom force them to wear them (my mom does that), they think it’s “sexy”, want to apper Taller……it’s in “style”. Wearing heels isn’t very good b/c it causes back, leg, foot issuses. :P Everything for women causes something bad.

majority of girls were them to look sexy when they go out. however they can also make shorter girls look taller and as a confidence booster and they also make your legs look leaner and longer. not all heels are uncomfortable, but most high heels you see on people today are, think the ones that victoria beckam wears. high heels can cause a lot of damage to feet and tendons (even smaller heels) so shouldnt be worn all the time.

Some girls just like the look that high heels give, they make your lags longer, make you taller and just tie together a outfit sometimes, beauty hurts sometimes, but if it makes you look good, some girl don’t really care. Also not all heels hurt, they get you tired, but they don’t all hurt, if you get ones that fit you right and all, wearing heels can be like an average sneaker. Also some people are used to wearing them all the time, so their feet are used to them.

Vanity. I dont believe that beauty is pain; I believe pain is pain. I can look gorgeous and be comfy.

I like to wear heels because they make me taller and makes my legs look longer. But they don’t hurt, only some.
