How do I (the only girl in class) make friends with boys who all already know each other?

I have started a course in mechanics and most of the other people in my class went to school together so they all know each other. Before this, I was a hairdresser so I am used to working with girls and gay men but not straight guys, especially not a whole room full of guys and I’m the only girl. It was my first day yesterday. They talked to me and stuff obviously, but they all went off at lunch break together (I don’t know where…) and I kinda just went and ate lunch in my car. I have a lot of things in common with them, like I skateboard, play lots of sports etc.. I just don’t know how to get to the stage where I can hang with them at lunch…. (I feel like I’m in school again…)

What kind of class is it? I was the only girl in all of my college classes being that I am an engineer. I would just ask if they need some help on something or maybe even ask for help if you need it. Then just say that it’s tough being the only girl in the class and they should warm right up to you. even better if you watch sports or play video games hehe

Try to start a conversation about what’s happening in the classroom. Ask anything (best way to start the conversation).

Show a little interest in what they like. It’s a good conversation starter. After that it should be pretty easy. Guys aren’t complicated to get into a conversation with. Especially if it’s a girl who is taking an interest in the same subject that they are in.

well,for 1 don’t push yourself.don’t try to impress them.you’ll just embarras yourself.just try to act normal.they’ll realise that you need someone to talk to.hopefully 1 nice person will come up to you and start talking.and there you go.1 friend in the sack !!!
