german shephard fear lol

ok so when I was about 10 I think (15 now) my nan got 2 german shephards who were sooo little at first 2 weeks later they are huge and my brother left the door open and one ran at me and clawed my whole back , I dont have and drastic scars just a skin sensitivity and the odd lil white line but big dogs scare the hell out of me even after 5 years and everyone thinks I stupid and a whimp who doesnt want to break a nail etc but im not I tell them the reason they sed what happened wasnt that bad because it happened so quick and I didnt make a big deal of it but it just so mentally f*cked me up like I didnt go to the doctors after but still its just affected me so much

I totally relate. I was attacked by a german shepard when I was about 7. Luckily, it wasnt as traumatizing as your situation definitely sounds like. You are not overreacting and I think its totally natural that after such an experience, you would have this fear

my advice to you is to drop by your local therapist and just sit down and talk it out. it might take you one session or maybe more, but you will definitely be able to heal this emotional wound.

I got bit by a dog and I am mentally scared and have a small scar on my face on the side. I know how you feel. I was a big dog lova too so it was a shame. my friends are very understanden tho. why dont you just explain how you feel to your friends and your experience. im am sure they will understand.

ohh and why dont you just get small dogs..

I recomend teacup maltese im not scared of them one bit they look llike little stuffed animals especially when they are puppies.!
