what is the human genome ?
one's genetic code is made up of sequences of 4 different nucleotides. (e.g. acg, agg, agu, att) the sequences form patterns that repeat themselves. only about 1% of the human genetic sequence is what makes us different from each other, the rest is what are called tandom repeats. the entire human genome was completely sequenced in 2003.
the human genome is the entire DNA sequence in our cells. It is composed of genes and intervening sequences.
