Do frogs like being in the sun?

any info of that sort would be great.

Answer #1

Only time we’d see bull frogs is at night time, but i think it really depends on the species of frog.

Answer #2

i used to ahve a couple of tree frogs that lived with my green anole lizards in their terrarium, it was pretty hot in there for the lizards but the frogs would be on the tree branches beneath the hot bulbs while they were on. i did have plenty of water in the terrarium and on occasion i would find the frogs in the water dishes. so it does depend on the species- leopard frogs will bask in the sun- but they always have access to water, and i have seen bullfrogs doing the same. i think the important thing is that they have access to water at all times if they are to be let into direct sun light.

Answer #3

access to thick leafy cover would be important as well.

Answer #4

They do when the need to increase their body temperature because they cannot control it themselves, so constant access to sun and water is necessary

Answer #5

It depends on the frog.
