I have a friend who is 19 w/ 2 kids and does drugs. She lost her job because of her cocaine addiction but now she wants me to help her find a job. Problem is she does not answer her phone for days is she a hopeless cause?
Ok besides the fact that she needs help (for her kids sake if not her own) You have to be careful. What happens if you find her a job, then she stops showing up there? Your name and reputation are at stake here... You dont want to recommend someone who isnt reliable, it makes you look bad...
Her fiancee is 25 and also a cocaine user shes also very open about other activities thank you all for your advise and ty dont worry after she stood me up the other day I will not be so inclined as to find her a job. Her kids are 2 1/2 and 11 months and I worry about them.
No. If you care about your friend you would hold an intervention. If she is addicted to drugs and has 2 kids that is terrible for them, try and get her into rehab, it's best for both her and her kids and if she really loves them than she will.
You may have to take action to save her kids - I would keep a close eye on my things (may disappear to buy drugs) - she will use people also...hope she gets the help she needs !!
