Friends you're kind of embarrassed to have

Do you have any friends you’re kind of embarrassed to have people know you’re friends? Like I used to have a friend who acted like a jerk to everyone, but was really cool to hang out with, so I’d just kind of agree with everyone else when they said they didn’t like him and wouldn’t tell anyone we were friends. That was a long time ago, and I’ve moved past it, but I know someone else who does the same thing. Is it common?

it is pretty common. a lot of people do it. I can’t say I feel good abotu it when I do. cause I feel bad for the person you like but pretend not to like.

Yes it is common. I used to do the same thing. I hate that when that happens. I think thats starting to happen again at my school with someone. Not sure though.

I think a person who follows other people are week. I think a person who hangs out with people because they want to are strong, I think the people who make fun of people who hang out with the person they don’t like are shallow and stupid, Someday most people realize how stupid they acted when it came to things like this. Stand out, talk to who you want to and who cares what others say, just shows how shallow they are and you don’t need those people as friends.
