Where can I find a modelling agency that doesn't request payment upfront?

I just went to onesource talent’s place outside of detroit and they wanted 500 dollars up front. I want to earn money not spend it. Does anyone know of a place that doesnt have an upfront cost, or a minimal one at that?

Exactly, no legit agency will ask for money up front. Google modeling agencies and pull up the real deal agencies–Ford,Janice Dickinson, etc. You can call them and ask if they are taking unsolicited head shots. If so send them on in. Your best agencies in the US are going to in New York and L.A. Good luck!!

Here’s the problem … many agencies that will scam you out of your money with false promises will ask for payment upfront. Other legitimate agencies won’t ask you for money, but they might not accept you as a client, either. Best thing to do - look up modelling agencies and do a search of each one to see if they’re legit … any discrepancies will surely be posted online somewhere
