How do you get flawless skin makeup?

How do you get flawless skin make-up? What brands do you use? How do you put it on properly?

Answer #1

Best brands I’ve used are Mac and Clinique. Am using L”oreal now because it covers my wrinkly bits more but I don’t like the fragrance. Use a sponge to apply, as ty suggest.

Carmindy Bowyer, (the renowned makeup artist, who has worked with InStyle, Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan as well as beauty icons Isabella Rossellini and Cindy Crawford) says for dry skin, use a liquid or cream foundation; tints or powders create drier-looking skin. If your complexion is oily, use an oil-free foundation or tint. Apply sparingly to face and follow with a translucent powder. (Colored powders will streak on oily skin.) For combination or problem skin, stick with the liquid foundations with a silicone base. These look great and stay put all day.

Answer #3

I am still searching for the perfect brand of foundation so can’t help you there, but if it’s liquid foundation, you put a couple of dabs around your face, and then use a sponge to spread evenly. To get that smooth look, you then brush some powder over it. Go to a makeup store, they usually have a makeup consultant there who will show you how to put it on…

Answer #4

omg best foundation EVER—bare minerals..its expensive but girl does it make you look AMAAAZING.

Answer #5

Without a doubt, Bare Minerals. It is worth the extra money and you can buy it cheaper on the Sephora.com site. I got the starter kit and have only run out of one of the items, but I’m fortunate and have a store locally that sells Bare Minerals. It is really good for your skin!
