What would be a good thing to say to your teen daughter when she complains about being fat, when you know she is not.
Thanks
Ok, tell her lots how pretty you think she is, she will probably say something along the lines of: "but you're my mum", but really, it does help. You could always say that when you are younger you were much bigger than her, even if you weren't, say that even if she was fat, then it wouldn't matter because of all of the good things about her personality.
Mainly, just try to make her feel good about herself.
Best of luck
Jess
