I was told not to eat fish due to the amount of mercury in it…also avoid peanuts, I guess it can cause your baby to be born with a peanut allergy…I did eat peanuts by the can tho, and my daughter love peanut butter, so I don’t know how true the peanut thing is! lol Good things to eat…fruits, veggies, make sure you drink enough milk, or eat enough milk products to keep your bones strong…other than that it’s all on your cravings!

Oh, and try not to drink things with caffeine since that’s really bad for the baby, that also means try to lay off the chocolate, but small amount aren’t that bad. Just stay away from sodas, coffee and tea!

I take it you’re expecting, so congratulations and good luck! Jess :)

Shellfish is a big no-no, so it caffeine. My doctor said if you drink one cup of coffee everyday that is fine but then no more caffeine all day. Undercooked meats are also out, make sure red meat is cooked till there is no more pink and poultry till all juices run clear.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are probably one of the best things you can eat. Basically just try to eat healthy. When I was pregnant with my oldest son I ate fruit salad ALL the time (major craving for it). My son has never liked fruit, except for applesauce. Odd how it works out sometimes, huh? Good luck and congratulations

Think of this : whatever you eat the baby eats. If I were preggers, I would eat healthy foods so my kid will be hooked on that instead of HFCS like some babies.

You can eat whatever you want, and when I’m married and decide to have a kid, I’ll eat healthy of course, but I’m totally going to eat some junk too. (Cravings? Hello?)

Just be careful!!
