I just got braces today! And I am in a lot of pain. I put wax on for the rough spots and that helped. Than I took two advil and that did not help the pain. My mouth is in sooo much pain right now. I am about ready to rip these things off! Please give me suggestions to relieve this pain!
I am the same as you at the moment. I have just got braces put on about a week ago. There isn't a lot you can do. What helped me was I took paracetamol every 4hours and kind of pushed my teeth back over my mouth. It does help but the pain goes after about a week. Just try to ignor it and eat SOFT food like soup and bread. NO APPLES. Good luck x
Well, I've had braces for aabout 3 years and I've kinda learned to get over it!! But at first I was ahhh!! but what I did was kinda try and forget about it!! I no it is like hard to say but it will ease over time...also what I do...is take aleave not advil but I think aleave works a hell of a lot better than advil so try that!!
