how to get finger nail polish to stay on longer?

Answer #1

Use a base coat and a top coat - it will prevent chipping.

Answer #2

to get you finger nail polish to stay on I found it easy to first paint it the color you want then go over it again once or even twice. Then when it has dried paint over it with a clear coat of nail polish. It should stay on a few extra days by doing that. =)

Answer #3

The way that I get my fingernail polish to stay on is by applying your normal color, then letting that dry. After it’s dried apply two coats of clear over polish over your origional coat. After the second coat of clear polish is almost dried, soak your fingernails in cold water, (as cold as you can stand)

  • this freezes the top two coats, & protects the origional coat.
Answer #4

fingernail polish comes off two ways, chipping, and the natural oils of your hands. to prevent from chipping, try not to wash dishes (because of the rough sponges) and try not to pick at them, for the second one, try to wash your hands more, and honestly, use less lotion because that will wear it off.

Answer #5

and if you paint sideways across the nail, the nail itself will become less breakable

Answer #6
