WHY IS IT I CANT FIND A JOB WHEN I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A YEAR NOW, BUT OTHERS ARE GETTING JOBS AND NOT ME?

At 18, I’d highly recommend looking into college, financial aid, etc…and while you’re looking, start learning more “job skills” and also pursue internships, as those can lead to job offers.

Craigslist / look for odd jobs - housecleaning, etc, etc…or mowing lawns. Those won’t be steady work, but they’ll help ends meet temporarily.

try your local paper, try the weekend papers(like the times…in the jobs/help wanted section!) Also another way would really be the unemployment agency.. They are guaranteed to find some sort of part time job for ya…and in the meantime they will help a little with finances or my guide you to another office that provide help as well!

Ask the companies you have applied for but not been hired at what you could do to improve yourself. Be neutral and professional about it. Don’t take it personally.
