How can I get back all my files after system restore?
My computer was not working so my dad put it into system restore and now all my files and docs have all gone. Is there any way of getting any of them back? Please help!

system restore does not alter/delete any personal files. you could try restoring it back to when all your files were present but i dont think that will make a difference. anyway go:
for xp: - start - all programs - accessories - system tools - system restore. once your system restore box pops up select ‘undo my last restoration.’ click next and follow messages.
for vista and windows 7: the same as xp.

to be honest ive never needed to use a system restore due to computers being easy to fix. next time ask :p
