I dont believe we have anyone in that field on here. Before i had my son and became a stay at home mom i had though about being a funeral director or working with deceased bodies preparing them for funerals and talked to a couple of people at our local funnera homes. They were the complete opposite of depressed. They were just normal people doing a job. I believe it helps if you have a different view on death and life and dont only see misery in it. Death is a part of life, we all die, but we all leave an amazing story and past behind also.
I don’t see why it would make people depressed. Death happens, all the time and eventually to everyone. It’s an unavoidable thing. I don’t see how being a funeral director will make you depressed. Also as a plus point, you don’t have anyone complaining about how cr@ppy life is.
