Do you and your familey or mom and dad have any certain thing yall do on christmas?

My entire family has a tradition we’ve done as long as i can remember. Everyone (aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends, its about 50 of us), get together on Christmas eve and everyone brings food and drinks and presents for the kids to open and we just have a good night. Christmas we have our own family in the morning opening presents with my son, then we visit and eat lunch and open presents with my fiances side of the family, then dinner and presents with my side of the family that night.

Oh that sounds fun!

My mom,My grandma,and I , all go to my aunt’s house and there we chill w|them and i usually hang with my cousin and we tell each other what we got and stuff.We eat lots of desert and food later.It’s a good time.(:

My family keeps it simple, its just us four, we spend it together, make a nice dinner and give presents to eachother and its over. We do invite, sometimes, other family but its very rare. Main thing for us is just being together.

That’s so cool, I love family time.

We alternate houses between my cousin’s house and my house. But my favorite part of Christmas is going to the beach afterwards and seeing all of the happy kids swimming and playing.

My mum’s side and dad’s side don’t mix so us kids in between spend time at each. Christmas morning my mum, step dad, brother, two step brothers, sister and I wake up and open presents. Then my brother, sister and I go to my father’s mum’s house and spend time with our dad, grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins. Then we pick up my mum’s mum and head out to our stepdad’s parents to have dinner. We do this same thing every year and I make the trifle for dessert every year :)

well in a way i guess so. We start off by literally buying everything we can find during black friday. Then we set up the fake tree that looks as if it’s been through hell and back a few times already. Some time later we’ll wrap the gifts in the classic wrapping paper that’s been sitting in our crawlspace for a few years and what not. It may sound casual but i have never come across a cheaper christmas in a middle class family. We practically invented the number “0” when it comes to our costs. Does your family do the same? lol
