I don't think that is fair, not if you were only 20minutes late. Now if you came home like 4hrs. late, I could see why he would be upset, I could understand him thinking you guys were probably out partying, and if that's what you were going to do in marching band, you shouldn't be in it. But 20mins? That ridiculous, when you are in any kind of class, or practice, they can keep you past the actual time to go.
this was the first time it happened and i missed a few days so the band director was trying to catch me up and i missed a few days because my sister had a doc's app. and i had to go to fill out the paper work and then thrus he had to pick up some tires and he refused to take my sis with him so i had to stay home
