How can I get back at my step dad?

My step father has been a JERK to me lately and it’s really pissing me off. He’s retired army and I feel that if I tell him what I really think of him, I may never see light again. I’m just asking if there’s a way that I can tell him that I dont like him?

I know exactly how you feel. My step dad is retired army too and he really pisses me off a lot and I cant to a thing about it. and jesswinfery is right about how he may have saw things in the army that could have changed his life, but I that duznt mean he has some kind of right to be a total jerk to you. Maybe you should calmly and kindly explain to him what he does that makes you so mad at him. I know this sounds like such a really cheesy thing to do but you should give it a try. Hopefuly it will help.

write a letter explaining how you feel , dont SUPER take it out on him cause I bet that in the army he saw things that changed his life, and maybe it wouldn’t be good to make him feel like no one is there for him, some people take things out on certain people cause they know that that person will always be there for them. :) hope I helped.
