Facial Hair...

I have unwanted facial hair and I pluck it ALL THE TIME.!!! And it drives me absolutely crazy…I shaved it a few times which was very stupid…and its very thick. My grandma told me that plucking makes it grow thicker. Then my aunt and I discussed bleaching it but im afraid if even if its blonde the hair will be very excessive…It makes me miserable and I dont know…???!!!

yeah, dont pluck it, it comes in thicker and darker and grows in at about the same rate as shaving it. try waxing it, it’ll hurt, but it wont grow in as fast (or so im told). if you dont want to wax it then try a facial hair removal cream and DO NOT leave it on for longer than it says. IT WILL BURN THE SKIN! but it gets rid of the hair with out the pain of wax and the razor burn of shaving. it will grow in faster than waxing it though, but its easy. veet and nair are good brands for hair removal. if it really bothers you then look into laser hair removal in the future. you could also go to a doctor and get your (sorry your under fau, dont know if your a girl or guy) hormones/testosteron checked out and see if its normal. hope this helped!

In my experience plucking and shaving do make the hair grow in thicker…but plucking slightly less so as you’re pulling the hair out from the root and not mearly cutting it off bluntly by shaving.

I would stick with bleaching for now and follow nocluenat’s very sound advice.

Uh yeah, listening to old wives tales doesnt get you too far. It does not grow thicker if you pluck it or if you shave it (what exactly is the difference between plucking and shaving?)

Waxing is generally the most efficient way of getting rid of hair, but plucking is fine… As for shaving, well you’ll just have to do it more often…

Yeah mine comes from too much testosterone produced by my ovaries or something like that.
