Can anyone help explain "The Pit and the Pendulum" by Edgar Allen Poe?
So I have read this short story over and over again, and I just cannot grasp what this man is talking about. This is a book that I have to read and answer these questions about. I feel awfully dumb for not being able to do this. I just do not understand how to explain any of it. Any amount of input will help. Thanks guys, you’re the best! God Bless. <3
