Why everytime I take my birth control pill my stomach gets sick?

When are you taking your pill? Try taking it at a different time of the day, either after you have eaten a meal or right before you go to bed at night. If that doesnt help talk to your obgyn about switching what type you are on, theres no reason you should be feeling ill from taking your pill.

Perhaps it isn’t the right pill for your body!

That used to happen to me when taking bcp(birth control pills) They had to try 3-4 different ones then I decided enough was enough & that maybe bcp just wasn’t good for my body.

Have your obgyn try a few different companies & if it still doesn’t help & still makes you as sick as I was then perhaps your body is trying to tell you that bcp’s simply aren’t for you & to find another solution! It happened to my mom as well.

You take it without eating or you could be allergic to it?

Birth control causes an increase in the female hormones that help prevent pregnancy. Sometimes women get sick when they start taking birth control due to the hormone increase. This happened to me, and my doctor told me to take it before bed for a couple of months until my body adjusted to it. It seemed to help.

I started takin it when I eat and now I just have something 2 throw up and no I’m not allergic 2 them it just started happening
