Something like this…microsoft word does an outline automatically, if you have it:

  1. Topic of interests this is the main topic a. these are the alphabet, lower case 

        I. nest points are roman numerals

  2. next topic a. always tart wtih a b. to move to the next point, use b 

         I. Alwasy start the sub bullet with the first roman numeral, lower case.

Hope that helps, that’s the basic format. Indent the subtopic or detail once, and then the line below that, if it’s the roman numeral line, once more. The 1, 2, 3 main topics should start on the far left, eg, the normal starting position.
